Ingredients
  

Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz (226 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Egg Rolls

  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • 2–3 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
  • ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients and allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature.
  2. Beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  3. Lay one egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape and brush the edges with beaten egg.
  4. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of cheesecake filling onto the lower third of the wrapper.
  5. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in both sides, then roll tightly and seal.
  6. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry 3–4 egg rolls at a time for 3–4 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.
  8. Transfer to a wire rack or paper towels and let drain for 2–3 minutes.
  9. Roll the warm egg rolls in cinnamon sugar.
  10. Serve warm with your favorite toppings or dipping sauces.

Notes

  • Don't overfill the wrappers or they may burst while frying.
  • Keep unused wrappers covered with a damp towel to prevent drying.
  • A thermometer helps maintain the ideal frying temperature.
  • Place finished egg rolls seam-side down before frying to help them stay sealed.
  • For extra flavor, add mini chocolate chips or crushed Oreo cookies to the filling.
  • Air Fryer: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway.
  • Oven: Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 15–18 minutes, flipping once.
